She told Us Weekly: “I’m not looking. I just want to be alone for a while. But it’s scary you know? And you feel lonely, you want to grab onto something, but then you’re not really dealing with the experience. You’re just looking for a distraction. I want to feel the experience.”
The 34-year-old actress insists she and Navarro have remained good friends despite the break-up.
She added: “We’re still really good friends. I don’t regret it. Not everything always works out, but we’re still friends. That’s all that matters.”
The single star now wants to focus on herself and enjoy her independence.
She said: “It’s been fun because I’ve had more time to hang out with my friends. It’s just nice to reconnect and do fun stuff and have sleepovers, dancing, fun girl stuff.”

According to Star Magazine that girl stuff included a stop at the Music Box to see pal Joan Jett perform. Star has an item set for this week's issue that claims that Carmen and the rocker were getting "hot and heavy and they certainly were not trying to hide it."
The report details that after Joan performed at the Music Box, the two were spotted backstage aggressively kissing, hugging, and touching.
